Who are we?
We are a group of fun-loving people who like to garden and create floral arrangements. We welcome all horticulturalists-at-heart to come to our meetings and to get to know us. Most of our members live in and around Point Loma, but please feel free to join us from farther away.
 
What do we do?
We meet to discuss topics of interest to hobbyist and professional gardeners. Activities include speakers, plant sales and sharing, craft-making, field trips, and social gatherings. Each meeting is preceded by a potluck brunch. General meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month September through June in Point Loma at:

    The plant sale will take place in Point Loma at Portuguese Hall, 2818 Avenida de Portugal, San Diego, CA 92106. It is normally held in the spring from 9 AM to noon.

    Annual Holiday Tea and Bazaar

    Open to the public.

    Our Annual Holiday Tea and Bazaar is normally held in December.

    Specialty holiday fresh and dried decorations, crafts and homemade delectables - all lovingly created by Point Loma Garden Club members - are for sale. Come find the perfect table centerpieces, wreaths and swags for your home and special gifts for hostesses, friends and family. Proceeds benefit local PLGC philanthropies.

    Social In The Garden

    Several times a year, different members open their garden for a morning or afternoon gathering. Members are encouraged to invite their friends and neighbors so they can become familiar with the club.

 Membership renewal dues are $40 per year. New member dues are $50 which includes your name badge. These fees help us with our activities and membership costs. Members also enjoy discounts at favored local nurseries.
